WOOOHOOOOO!! Congratulations to Ms. Viki Cauthen, our January Teacher of the
Month! Ms. Cauthen was nominated by numerous peers. This speaks volumes to how
many teachers and students she is helping around our entire building! There have
been so many times this school year, Ms. Cauthen has stepped up and gone out of her
way to help students without being asked to do so. She builds strong relationships
with students and will do whatever it takes to help them succeed. This devotion to
her students is heartwarming.
Ms. Cauthen also has been a valuable part of Dr. Bigelow's daily Writer's Workshop!
She joins this class to help her students and is involved in their education. Not only is
she ready to help, but she is also ready to learn. She has tackled technology and
displays a growth mindset around virtual learning. Multiple times throughout the
school year, Ms. Cauthen has helped pass out materials to students. She is on the
front line and makes sure all students have what they need at home to succeed. Viki, we are lucky to have you at Westmeade! You were nominated multiple times but
multiple peers. This is well deserved, and we are very proud of you. 💕
