Hello Westmeade Wolves Community, Families, Neighbors, and Friends!
I am excited to join the Westmeade Elementary family as the new Assistant Principal. I am a native Nashvillian and proud graduate of Metro Nashville Public Schools. This is my tenth year with Metro Nashville Public Schools, where I most recently served as the Dean of Instruction at Lakeview Elementary Design Center. Prior to being at Lakeview, I taught third and fourth grade for 8 years. I received my bachelor’s degree from the University of TN -Knoxville. After enjoying a successful career at The Tennessean, I left to answer the call to teach upon the completion of my Masters-in-Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University. I later earned my Educational Specialist and Doctorate degrees from Trevecca.

– Through Wit & Wisdom and TN Foundations, students will be challenged to be read complex text and show their understanding by citing evidence through academic conversations.

Students will not be the only ones asked to learn and grow. The faculty and staff, along with Dr. Crumbo and me are committed to being lifetime learners.

I will be visible to students, staff, and the community and will be open to listening to concerns and partnering together to develop solutions that benefit our little Wolf Pack!

Relationships are the KEY to success! So, EVERY student will be known and made to feel they belong each day!
